Change Room Policies

We will be following the safe sport policy of rule of 2: Where a Coach and Executive member with a Respect in Sport and Safe sport certification will be allowed in the dressing room. This may look like 2 executive members or 2 coaches or 1 Coach and 1 executive member.

Phone and mobile devices must be used appropriately and respectfully while in change rooms. If used inappropriately restrictions will be imposed.

Skaters will be provided with a change room to put on their skates. Please look at the TV monitors in the lobby of Surrey Sports and Leisure and North Surrey Sports Ice Complex to see which rooms we are in for your session as well a club sign will be up on the door of the change room.

Skaters who are Junior thru Diamond are encouraged to tie their own skates by the ages of 7-9. If your skater requires you to tie their skates please use the benches in the lobby or stands of the arena. Parents will not be allowed in the change room.

Rising Star Skaters are encouraged to try and tie their skates but to ensure proper tightness may need help from a parent.

In the event that your child needs to use the bathroom and requires your help please use an empty change room or take your skater to the public washroom in the city facility.
